Yes! Sinag is closely connected to Sinag Surf Club, which offers beginner-to-intermediate surf lessons and group sessions in the waters around General Luna. Lessons are designed with a strong focus on safety, confidence-building, and real progression. Ask us about surf and stay packages when you inquire.
Absolutely — solo travelers are at the heart of the Sinag experience. Our dorm rooms and common spaces are specifically designed to help solo travelers connect, meet surf buddies, and feel at home immediately. Many guests arrive alone and leave with a whole group of friends. The Sinag Fam is real.
Sinag Hostel is located in General Luna, the tourism and surf hub of Siargao Island. General Luna is where you'll find Cloud 9 (the famous surf break), most of the island's restaurants and cafes, and the majority of the backpacker and traveler community. It's the best base for exploring the island.

Definitely. Sinag has hosted group surf trips, friend groups, and corporate retreats. We can arrange combinations of dorm beds and private rooms to accommodate your group, plus coordinate surf sessions through Sinag Surf Club and meals at Sinag Snack Bar. Cancellation policies vary depending on whether you book directly or through a platform, and on the specific promotion or room type. For direct bookings, we ask that you cancel at least 48–72 hours in advance for a full refund. For platform bookings, the policy shown at time of booking applies.
